Chapeau!

1408 Clement St, SF

The absolute standout from the meal was the Montchevre Goat Cheese Napoleon. That thing seriously started a party in my mouth. We also had a scallop appetizer, which was good, but disappointing because there was only one lone scallop. For our mains I had the cassoulet and Jas had the lamb shank. The cassoulet was ehhh... I wouldn't order it again. Jas's lamb shank was delicious and well portioned. I don't remember what we ordered for dessert, so it was probably pretty unremarkable.

The restaurant itself is small and cramped, but that goat cheese appetizer more than makes up for any minor flaws Chapeau! may have.
